EV Battery Plants ("we," "our," or "us") operates evbatteryplants.com, a data intelligence platform tracking electric vehicle battery gigafactory construction and cell manufacturing capacity worldwide. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Site collects, how we use it, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.

EV Battery Plants is a service of Blackridge Research & Consulting, and information you submit to us may be handled by Blackridge staff for the purposes described below. By using this website you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you request a trial, book a demo, or otherwise contact us through a form on this Site, we collect what you enter, typically your name, business email address, company name, job title, and any message you write. Those forms are served by Deft Forms (deftform.com), a third-party form provider, and submissions reach us through that service.

Technical and log data. Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as IP address, user agent, referring URL, requested path, and timestamp in order to serve and protect the Site.

Browser storage. The Site stores a single value, your light or dark theme preference, in your browser's localStorage. It stays on your device, is not sent to us, and is not used to identify or track you. We set no advertising or analytics cookies of our own.

What we do not collect. We do not run advertising networks, cross-site trackers, session recording, or behavioural profiling on this Site. We do not ask for or store payment card details on the Site.

How We Use Your Information

• To respond to trial, demo, and subscription enquiries and to provide the access you requested.
• To send project intelligence updates and sector briefings where you have asked for them.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site and the underlying database.
• To meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Project and Company Data

The database itself records organisations and capital projects, not consumers. Where it contains a named individual, it is a business contact in a professional role, such as a project director or a procurement lead, and the information is limited to business contact details drawn from public disclosures, company websites, regulatory filings, and industry announcements. We process it on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing business-to-business market intelligence. Third-Party Services

The Site relies on the following providers, each operating under its own privacy policy:

• Cloudflare (cloudflare.com) for hosting, DNS, CDN, and edge security. Cloudflare processes network-level data including IP addresses.
• Deft Forms (deftform.com) for the trial and demo request forms.
• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) for typeface delivery. Google may log the request per its own policy.
• jsDelivr and Tailwind CDN for static JavaScript and stylesheet delivery.

International Transfers

We operate from India and use providers with infrastructure in several countries, so your information may be processed outside your own jurisdiction. Where personal data originates in the EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses entered into by our providers, to protect it in transit and at rest.

Data Retention

Enquiry and trial request data is retained for as long as we have an active business relationship with you, and for up to 24 months after the last contact, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Subscriber and billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Server and edge log data is retained for a short operational period, typically no more than 90 days.

Your Rights

Subject to your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent where processing rests on consent. To exercise any of these, email info@evbatteryplants.com. We respond within 30 days.

EEA and UK residents. Our lawful bases are consent for marketing messages, legitimate interest for business-to-business database entries and site security, and contract performance for subscriber accounts. You may complain to your local supervisory authority.

California residents. You may request disclosure of the categories of personal information we collect and ask for deletion. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA and CPRA.

India. We handle personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Grievances can be raised at the contact address below.

Data Security

Traffic to the Site is encrypted in transit with TLS, the origin is protected by Cloudflare's edge network, and API credentials for the underlying database are held server side and never exposed to the browser. Access to enquiry data is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify affected users and the relevant authority where a breach requires it.

Children's Privacy

The Site is built for business professionals and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and will delete it promptly if we learn we have.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Site or the law changes. The revised version is posted here with a new "Last updated" date, and material changes will be flagged on the Site. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised policy.
